Where to Look for Part Time Jobs
By Buddy Shearer Part-time employment can be a difficult road to navigate
if one already has a full time job. Humans require a minimum amount of rest
and restorative sleep, and those requirements infringe upon the hours that
an ambitious person can squeeze out of a day. Teachers seeking to supplement
their incomes are such an example of those who need to stretch the day. Most
careers entail, by their very nature, a forty- hour work week.
Educational professionals must spend many more hours in order to even come
close to completing the tasks with which they are presented. If they have
spent the minimum forty hours in pursuit of educating their students, they
must then be available for extracurricular activities as well as meetings
and seminars in the hours beyond the classroom. Therefore, the part-time
job must be one with flexible hours and a manager who understands that education
is their primary function.Retail is the most obvious part-time career, but
many teachers are found in the tutoring business. Tutoring is a natural
fit,
many teachers prefer to find jobs in which they can totally switch gears.
The time spent doing mindless work is so much easier that it is somewhat
of a liberation from normal pressures. The compensation is little but the
flexibility is the key component for the educator. He or she must be able
to have release time in order to be at school for those events that require
their presence.CLICK
